More about The Peoples Choice
The Peoples Choice’s roots go back many years to when the original six members of the band were students at UW Stevens Point. The original Peoples Choice was formed by the merger of two bands—The Chosen Few, from the Milwaukee area, and The Horde, from Northern Wisconsin. The band played for five years throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest. Through those years, the group was known for its signature horn section, strong vocals, and connection with its audiences. The next chapter of The Peoples Choice started in 2002 when several of the original members reunited at the Rock and Roll Reunion Concert in Stevens Point. After this successful event, they decided to reform the band and start playing regularly again. By adding some dynamic new players, the band has taken on a contemporary look and sound. Today, The Peoples Choice is a 9-piece band featuring a 4-member horn section. The Peoples Choice plays all types of music, from Pop to Jazz to Country, with their specialty being Classic Rock n’ Roll.
